Is there a different way to get rid of skunk smell besides tomato juice?

My cat got sprayed =/ blehIs there a different way to get rid of skunk smell besides tomato juice?
I have used many things and found the best to be a product called skunk off. it comes in a white bottle with a skunk on front. i believe I got mine at the vet. it really worked well after my dog was sprayed. Good luck it is awful huh?? :)Is there a different way to get rid of skunk smell besides tomato juice?
The best thing we use is Skunk Off which we get from the Vet.

As an alternative.

Get 1 pint Hydrogen Peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda

1 teaspoon liquid dish washing soap.

Mix and use immediately. The chemical reaction is what gets rid of the skunk smell. The chemical reaction dissipates after about 5 minutes. Do not save any of the mixture that remains.

Do not allow the mixture to get in the animal's eyes.

As this is a smaller animal you may want to divide this amounts in half.

Apply to your cat. Lather. Allow to soak on your cat for at least 5 minutes.

Mix up another batch of the mixture and repeat.

My dog gets sprayed by a skunk about once a year. We use alternating baths of Skunk Off and the home skunk remedy. Nothing will get rid of smell completely. But we found that this makes it so you can at least tolerate it so your pet can stay inside.

The mixture may change the color of your pet's fur. But this will be temporary.
The link has a home remedy recipe listed that uses baking soda peroxide and liquid soap

Good luck

Try something from the Nature's Miracle line at Petsmart. It really works!
Umm, just keep bathing him/her. Eventually it will wear off.
No not really....tomato juice is the best
Beer works
